Folks, I'm beginning to think there is a God.
Praise Jesus.
After years of living off "Scarlet Street" (1945), the diverting but inferior second film again teaming brilliant ex-pat director Lang with the stellar acting trio of Edward G. Robinson, Joan Bennett, and the slimy Dan Duryea (not to be confused with Dan Dailey)-FINALLY, we have the masterpiece made the very year before on DVD: "The Woman In The Window".

"Woman" is top-noir...Poor Eddie-very respectable here. gets tangled up with a beautiful woman he's seen in a painting, and the next thing you know, is in deep...very deep....too deep.
A hell of a clincher, and the whole thing goes off like clockwork...A master is at the helm.
Grab this one.
